Cut coconut husk into smaller pieces.
Prepare a corn starch plastic solution with cornstarch, glycerin, vinegar and water.
Mix coconut husk and solution and heata till it becomes dense and translucent.
Flattened it out on a non sticky surface. Let it dry completely. Might take up to 3 days.
I made two pieces. One was smaller and thinner than the other.
I put the smaller one in water for a few days to see if it dissolves.
Putting it in water did not dissolve it. However, it became very soft and easy to tear. So, I decided to coat it with epoxy resin. The result was a translucent material which had an interesting pattern when you observed it through a light source.
